In the sleepy town of Silent Grove, life seemed peaceful and tranquil. But that was about to be shattered by one tiny fraction of a moment. A nuclear reactor, nearby, leaks radiation into the atmosphere and the surrounding area. Alarms scream and people scramble. But in all attempts, the radiation could not be contained.
The government orders an evacuation. Some residents refuse to leave and remain behind. Silent Grove now has become a ghost town. The remaining residents become sick and slowly die of radiation poisoning. But little do they know, the radiation leak was merely a distraction...a ploy...for the real accident. A company paid a lab situated in the reactor in an unknown area to test new virus'...and one of those experimental virus' escaped.
Forced to fend for themselves, the canines take to the streets. Ex house pets now have to learn what it's like to be on their own and no longer pampered. Wolves, foxes, jackals and other species have congregated here in Silent Grove. The virus had gone global. Besides the virus , the lab experimented with extinct DNA and brought back the dire wolf. Roaming along with the canines, these exctinct wolves are now apart of the growing canine poulation.
